花蓮慈濟醫院、玉里慈濟醫院與花蓮縣中醫師公會昨日下午在玉里靜思堂舉辦義診，向來自台灣各地、協助災區民宅修繕的慈濟志工感恩外，也針對他們累積多日的的肌肉痠痛、勞累、失眠等症狀，提供針灸、推拿、艾灸、拔罐等治療；2個小時下來，包括鄰近鄉親總共完成42診次。

918地震造成花蓮、台東嚴重災情，慈濟基金會志工深入家訪，首批援助計畫認養230戶受損民宅修繕，並援建4所學校。來自各地支援修繕工班的慈濟志工接力上陣，也有的志工已駐留玉里鎮10多天。花蓮慈院院長林欣榮、中醫部副院長何宗融率醫護，以及花蓮縣中醫師公會理事長黃輝榮醫師、江國輝醫師及多位志工，趁著雙十國慶假日前往玉里靜思堂，與玉里慈院王仁甫醫師會合進行義診。

王健豪醫師指出，支援修繕的慈濟志工多已6、70歲，除了陳年舊疾，主要還是連日施工過度勞累，肌肉痠痛、腰痠背痛、肩膀僵硬，甚至影響睡眠及排便，而這次的義診主要項目是中醫針傷科，每位醫師在問診結束後，隨即針對志工或者民眾不舒服的症狀、位置進行治療；大愛感恩科技的福慧床也派上用場充當治療床，義診過程十分順利。

慈濟基金會執行長顏博文也到場感恩參與義診的中醫師。林欣榮院長指出，地震發生後，造成災區的居民生活不便，也多人出現疲勞、痠痛等症狀，義診能做的事很有限，希望有更多人持續投入援建工作，幫助災區早日復原。
